Telehealth

COVID 19 catapulted telehealth to the foreground in health care services, but it is an option we have long needed, especially in mental health. This format is helpful for those who need support but can’t make it to an in-person appointment for any of a number of reasons–limited time, distance, fear, or merely preferring to attend psychotherapy virtually.

Telehealth allows me to provide counseling and therapy to you via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. I am currently offering services only via telehealth video conferencing until it is permissible and sufficiently safe for us to meet together in my office. (Also note how hard it is to communicate well when most of our face is obscured with a mask!) When the current health crisis is over, I will continue offering telehealth appointments to those for whom getting to a traditional in-person appointment is not convenient, or they simply prefer interacting virtually.
